- The use of the stunt doubles in action scenes is much questioned. Though it's the actor or actress's choice whether or not they want to take the risk of filming a dangerous scene. Many actors actually choose to perform the dangerous scenes themselves.
Actors such as Jackie Chan are famous for not using stuntmen to film their action-packed scenes. And women are also on this list. For instance, Angelia Jolie didn't resort to a stunt double in 'Salt.'
