The sports community is mourning the retirement of beloved soccer player Tim Cahill. As the all-time leading goalscorer for Australia, Cahill's presence on the field will surely be missed.
Sharing a kind sentiment and some photos to Twitter, Cahill wrote, "Today’s the day that I’m officially hanging up my boots on my international career with the Socceroos."
He continued to explain that, "No words can describe what it has meant to represent my country. Massive thank you to everyone for the support throughout all my years wearing the Australian badge."
