Having enough celebrity status to inspire an entire appreciation day must be a strange feeling. On a recent episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' Jonah Hill discussed what it was like to attend Jonah Hill Day in Brooklyn, NY.
As this year marked the second annual Jonah Hill Day, the actor decided to make an appearance and support the cause. The event is put on by James Harris, Lawrence Schlossman, and Jeremy Robinson-Leon as a way to pay tribute to Hill and especially call attention to his fashion sense. “People like how I dress, which I think is very flattering,” Hill told Kimmel.
Jonah Hill Day was complete with cardboard cut-outs, music, and plenty of fans. Since getting the official Jonah Hill seal of approval, the people of Brooklyn can most likely expect to be celebrating the annual appreciation day for years to come.
However, a word of advice from Hill himself, "never show up on time to your own day." He got there too early and it was awkward.
