Designers have battled it out in this reality competition on Lifetime for almost a decade, but now, for the 17th season of 'Project Runway,' the show will finally return to where it all started: Bravo TV.
The show aired on Bravo for five seasons before the then-producer, The Weinstein Company, stirred up a controversial license fee dispute with Bravo's owners, NBCUniversal, and the show took its business elsewhere.
NBCUniversal's president of lifestyle, Frances Berwick, said in a statement that the network expects the same level of "fan-dom" from the show's reboot as when it all began in 2004.
Andy Cohen, host of the Bravo late-night talk show 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen'—and the first openly gay host of an American late-night talk show—tweeted his excitement about the show returning to his host network, or "home" as he calls it.
#ProjectRunway is coming HOME to @Bravotv!!!!!
