The actress said she would only consider having children if she felt she had accomplished everything else she set out to do in life.
However, male Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance doesn't seem to agree. A 2021 video in which Vance makes heinous comments about childless women has resurfaced since he was named Donald Trump's running partner for the presidency, bringing him under a new level of scrutiny. In the interview with Tucker Carlson, Vance states that the country is being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
Aniston reshared this video on Instagram with the comment, "I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of The United States.” She continued, “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”
In the past, many believed that Aniston simply chose not to have children, perhaps due to her busy career life, and in fact she was often judged and called "selfish." In a 2022 interview, however, she revealed that she was consistently trying to get pregnant throughout her 30s and 40s. Sadly, multiple rounds of IVF didn't bring the results she was hoping for, and eventually, she decided that that ship had sailed.
