Martha Stewart made a surprising cameo during the season 16 premiere of 'The Real Housewives of New York City,' released on September 8, visiting her longtime makeup artist, and new cast member, Daisy Toye for a glam session. And she made quite the revelation during her appearance.
During the episode, Stewart revealed that she warned John F. Kennedy Jr. to get a copilot just days before his fatal 1999 plane crash. Stewart recalled having dinner with JFK Jr. on the Monday before the crash, when he told her he would be flying himself, his wife Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and her sister Lauren Bessette to a wedding.
“I said, ‘Who’s flying?’ He said, ‘I’m flying.’ I said, ‘You have a copilot, right?’ He said, ‘No, I don’t need a copilot,’” Stewart recounted.
JFK Jr., his wife, and her sister all died when the plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.
