Grammy-nominated producer Tay Keith, known for shaping some of hip-hop’s biggest hits alongside artists such as Drake, Travis Scott, Eminem, and Beyoncé, passed away at the age of 29 on June 18.
Nashville police said Keith, whose real name was Brytavious Chambers, was found dead in his apartment after officers carried out a welfare check. They said no foul play is suspected. The cause of death has not yet been determined, pending an autopsy.
Keith rose to prominence as the co-producer of Travis Scott’s chart-topping track 'Sicko Mode,' which earned him his first Grammy nomination in 2019. He received a second Grammy nod in 2024 for Drake and 21 Savage’s 'Rich Flex.'
