Tom Cruise was seen chatting with Taylor Swift at her husband Travis Kelce's game on September 14—the Kansas City Chiefs' first game of the 2026 NFL season. After video of the two talking went viral, professional lip-reader Nicola Hickling told the Irish Star she could decipher what the conversation was about.
According to the expert, in the viral video Taylor said, "It's the structure of the entire infrastructure of the audience that's what I love in a positive way… so."
Hickling stated that the first half of Cruise's response is inaudible, but he goes on to say, "You may not know it, but you do have a job," to which the pop star put her drink down and allegedly said "right" while nodding.
