Prolific children's author Jamie Lee Curtis is working on another book!

Many Hollywood celebrities have written books, often filled with scandalous tales from their careers, but some choose to target a younger audience. Jamie Lee Curtis is one such star who has found another creative passion in writing for children. She has published more than a dozen books since starting her writing career in 1993.
On July 19, 2023, Curtis revealed that she's currently working on another book. 'Just One More Sleep' is set to be released in January 2024, and will focus on how children deal with the concept of time. “The passage of time, how children relate to waiting, and patience are the themes at play in my newest book for children,” she said in a statement. "The seed for this book was planted when I saw my 4-year-old neighbor, Betty, on Christmas Eve 2020 and I said ‘Santa is on his way!’ She scolded me and said, ‘No Jamie, one more sleep, then Santa.’ That moment of her literal truth gave birth to this lovely book, which I hope will resonate with all families with young children." Curtis will work with her longtime partner in fiction, illustrator Laura Cornell, to come up with the images for her story.
