The marriage of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was the longest royal marriage in British history. But when Princess Elizabeth married Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on November 20, 1947, she likely didn't expect it to endure for over 70 years, along with her record-breaking reign.

Sadly, Prince Philip passed away in April 2021 at the age of 99, and Queen Elizabeth joined him on September 8, 2022, after a year of ill health following his death. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful journey. Browse this gallery and take a look back at this most endearing of royal love stories.
