But when Princess Elizabeth married Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on November 20, 1947, she likely didn't expect it to endure for over 70 years. Sadly, they will not be celebrating their 74th anniversary, as on April 9, 2021, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Prince Philip passed away, at the age of 99.
