Princess Eugenie is expecting her third child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, Buckingham Palace announced. The baby is due this summer, with the couple’s two children, August, five, and Ernest, two, said to be “very excited” about the new arrival.
The palace confirmed that King Charles III has been informed and is “delighted” by the news. Eugenie, 36, also shared the announcement on Instagram, posting an image of her children holding a scan alongside the caption: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!”
The couple, who married in 2018, welcomed their first child in 2021 and their second in 2023. The new baby will be 15th in line to the British throne as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's fifth grandchild.
