Boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard has filed a restraining order against his youngest son, Daniel Leonard, claiming that his seven- to eight-year addiction turned him violent. According to the former boxer, his son "has become a danger not only to himself but to his family."
Sugar Ray Leonard first obtained a temporary restraining order on May 19 after Daniel allegedly pushed him, prompting the retired boxer to get police involved. His son violated the order the next day when he tried to enter the family home, which led the boxing great to seek the current restraining order.
Under the order, Daniel Leonard cannot return home and he must not come within 100 yards of his father’s wife, Bernadette Robi, as well as his residence, place of work, and pets. Daniel Leonard has two court dates set for June 2026, where he must appear in regards to his arrest and the current restraining order.
