Celebs who have voiced animated characters

The viral children's song 'Baby Shark' is being made into a movie, and rapper Cardi B and her family are set to voice several of the characters! The animated film, entitled 'Baby Shark's Big Movie!' will follow Baby Shark and his family as they move to Chomp City. Cardi B will voice a character named Sharki B, while her husband Offset will play Offshark. Their two children, Kulture Kiari and Wave Set will voice characters named Kulture Sharki and Wavey Shark. Other celebrity names joining the cast include Lance Bass, Ashley Tisdale, Aparna Nancherla, and K-pop band ENHYPEN. It's expected to be released sometime later this year during the holiday season.

Chris Pratt -

The beloved orange cat who loves nothing but lasagna is returning to the big screen again, but this time Chris Pratt will be voicing Garfield in the upcoming animated feature. The comic-famous cat, first published by Jim Davis in 1978, had his first silver screen live-action animated hybrid film in 2004, with a sequel in 2006, and both times Garfield was voiced by Bill Murray. Pratt has big shoes to fill, but as you'll see in this gallery, he has a wealth of experience with voice acting.

Sony recently announced that the new 'Garfield' will be released in February of 2024. Samuel L. Jackson will voice a character alongside Pratt, and with the writer of 'Finding Nemo' (2003) and the director of 'Chicken Run' (2000) on board, it's all but guaranteed to be a hit.

The star-studded cast includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong. Nintendo have been very protective of the Mario Bros. since their creation in 1985 and have rarely allowed their images to be used in other media. The movie marked a huge milestone for the brothers!

Rihanna hopes to earn "cool points" with her kids after landing role in upcoming 'Smurfs' movie

Oftentimes when you're watching animated films with kids, you end up watching the same film hundreds of times. While you may feel like you know all about these movies at this point, not to mention all the words to every song, do you know who voices all of these characters? Countless A-list actors have stepped out of the spotlight and taken to the mic instead. Sometimes top musicians dabble in voice acting too!

A movie based on classic cartoon series 'The Smurfs' is in the works, Rihanna announced at CinemaCon on April 27. Why was Rihanna sharing this news? That's because the pregnant star has been cast to voice Smurfette, and will also be providing original music for the soundtrack. "I'll be playing Smurfette. I tried to get the Papa Smurf part, but it didn't work out," she joked on stage. The Barbadian Billionaire has one baby with partner A$AP Rocky and another on the way, and hopes that the role will earn her "cool points" with her kids in the future! Paramount revealed that the movie is expected to be released in February 2025.
