At the beginning of the year, Demi Moore made a triumphant comeback at the Golden Globes, winning her first-ever major acting award and scooping the Best Actress win for her role in ‘The Substance.' In her sixties, the horror film reignited her career, and now she has been nominated for her first-ever Academy Award in the same category.

Moore first emerged as a Hollywood star in the 1980s when she appeared in films like 'St. Elmo’s Fire' (1985) and 'About Last Night' (1986). She went on to become one of the industry's most talked-about actresses in the 1990s after her performances in 'Ghost' (1990) and 'Indecent Proposal' (1993). However, in her Golden Globes' speech, she admitted to being "at a low point" professionally before landing her role in 'The Substance.'
