The 31-year-old model shared the news on Instagram on August 11, posting a photo of herself rocking a massive diamond ring, her hand resting on Ronaldo’s. “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives,” she wrote in Spanish.
The couple, together since meeting at a Gucci store in Madrid, Spain, back in 2016 (though they only went public in 2017), raise five children together: Cristiano Jr. (15), twins Eva Maria and Mateo (eight), Alana Martina (seven), and Bella (three). Sadly, in 2022, the couple lost one of their newborn twins, a boy named Angel, shortly after birth.
Now, they’re looking ahead to a wedding and possibly breaking a few jewelry records along the way. That’s because Rodríguez’s dazzling ring has already gone viral for its size. While neither the couple nor their jeweler have confirmed details, experts estimate it could weigh up to 37 carats and be worth as much as US$3 million, according to People.
