Kim Kardashian is facing criticism for being “rude” after reportedly ignoring an iconic reporter at the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix.
The awkward encounter took place on June 7, when Sky Sports reporter Martin Brundle, known for his grid walk interviews, approached Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloé for a brief interview before the race began.
After Brundle asked Kim how she was doing, she ignored him and looked away. “Normally, people will have a quick chat with us. Are you enjoying F1?” he asked, but she simply waved and didn’t respond and then walked away with her entourage.
Fans quickly criticized Kim on social media, “How rude was Kim Kardashian? Brundle there to ask questions and she looks at some dude to see if Brundle was worth talking to,” posted one user.
“Kim Kardashian is not too good to talk to Martin Brundle. What a complete lack of class,” claimed another F1 fan.
Kim and F1 superstar Lewis Hamilton have reportedly been dating since February 2026.
Indeed, the pressure of being constantly under the spotlight can make celebs throw some serious diva tantrums. Fans trying to take pictures or asking for autographs is sometimes enough to trigger a rude response from these stars. And so too, it seems, are unplanned interview requests.
