Try the morning routine of your favorite celebrity
- There are better ways to start your day than snoozing your alarm and scrolling through social media. Breaking bad habits is hard, but a healthy morning routine could be the key to starting a new chapter in your life. From meditation, to working out, to making a maca-powder smoothie, there's plenty of ways to start the day on the right foot. For Dolly Parton, that involves waking up well before sunrise—at 3 am, to be exact. The 76-year-old country legend told Insider on April 11 that she likes to make the most of the morning. "I go to bed pretty early, but even if I’ve been up late—it’s just kind of like a little clock inside of me that says, ‘It’s 3 o’clock!’" she shared. The songstress insisted that she never feels tired, saying: “I don’t require as much sleep as a lot of other people do. That’s kind of a Parton family trait. I’m like my daddy. He was always up early, even if he had to go to bed late." But Parton added that, though awake, she does spend quite a bit of time cozied up in bed, claiming she “gets some of her best work done” beneath the covers. Make a change to your mornings, and find out how these celebs and successful figures start the day.
