Actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter’s daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe, has passed away at the age of 13.
The family confirmed her death in a statement to People on September 29, saying they were “deeply heartbroken” by the loss of their beloved daughter. They remembered Fiona as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”
Lowe, 58, and Painter, 52, welcomed Fiona in 2012. She was their middle child. Fiona leaves behind sisters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.
The cause of death has not officially been revealed.
The statement also read: “If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.”
Indeed, the thought of losing a child is simply unbearable—a nightmare you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. Sadly, however, there are many people whose worst nightmare became a reality, as is the case for these stars who lost those they loved the most.
