‘Full House’ star Dave Coulier revealed on December 2 that he’s been diagnosed with a second type of cancer—less than a year after announcing he was cancer-free from stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The actor said the new cancer was discovered following a recent PET scan.
Coulier explained that the scan showed a concerning spot that led to a diagnosis of p16-positive squamous cell carcinoma at the base of his tongue. Doctors told him the cancer is completely unrelated to his earlier lymphoma and the prognosis is very good.
He is undergoing 35 radiation treatments, scheduled to wrap up on December 31. Earlier this year, in March, Coulier celebrated being officially cancer-free after completing treatment for his previously diagnosed cancer, first announced in November 2024.
