CELEBRITY James bond
Where would James Bond be without women? Dead, probably. So many female characters have saved James Bond's life in the '007' series. Being a "Bond girl" is an important role, and it can turn an amateur actress into a star, sometimes even eclipsing their Bond fame.
Dame Diana Rigg found fame later in life once more as Olenna Tyrell in 'Game of Thrones,' but many forget that she was once also Tracy Bond in 1969's 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service.' Sadly, Rigg recently died of cancer, at age 82, after being diagnosed in March. She leaves behind a prolific acting career, as well as the legacy of becoming the only Bond girl to become 007's wife.
