Many factors play into how much A-list actors are paid for each movie, as some accept lower salaries to work with big directors, and others get paid a smaller amount upfront but make money off the film’s subsequent profit. Netflix has increased actor salaries to compensate for the fact that their profit doesn’t come from subsequent sales and licensing, but rather subscriptions.
