Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have been like brothers for years now, and in 2023, McConaughey revealed that there's a chance they really are brothers! The actors were on vacation in Greece together with their families a few years earlier when McConaughey's mom came out with an unexpected revelation: "Woody, I knew your dad." McConaughey explained that "Everyone was aware of the ellipses that my mom left after ‘knew.’ It was a loaded K-N-E-W.” The two friends started doing the math and realized that Harrelson's dad was on furlough from prison at the same time that McConaughey's mom and dad were going through their second divorce. "Then there’s possible receipts and places out in west Texas where there might have been a gathering, or a meeting, or a ‘knew’ moment," McConaughey explained. The pair are debating whether or not to take a DNA test, but McConaughey has expressed some apprehension. Harrelson's father was a contract killer who was in prison for most of his son's life and died there in 2007. For McConaughey, who had a close relationship with his dad, it's a bit more emotionally loaded.

Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan revealed that he's part of an incredibly attractive squad with three of his fellow actors from the British Isles. Back in 2009, he shared an apartment in L.A. with Eddie Redmayne when they were both trying to take their careers across the pond. Around that time they also hung out with up-and-coming British actors Robert Pattinson and Andrew Garfield. Dornan said they "were never competitive with each other" despite the fact they were always going for the same roles - ie. 'handsome young British guy.' In fact, they would even help one another prepare for the auditions and commiserate with each other when they failed to get the part.

Garfield recalled how they used to "go to the Standard Hotel on Sunset Boulevard to play Ping-Pong and order one cocktail between us because we couldn't afford any more," adding, "And we would spend six or seven hours." Despite the fact that they're all reaching incredible levels of success and are starting to settle down, the bond they created during their early days as starving artists is still just as strong.

Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence forged a close bond at the beginning of their careers by co-starring in a couple films together, and they've remained good friends throughout their careers. An even tighter bond formed between their families when, on July 10, 2021, Jasmin Lawrence, Martin's oldest child, revealed that she is dating Eddie's firstborn son, Eric Murphy, in a birthday post on Instagram. "Happy birthday, my love! I'm so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side," she wrote alongside photos of the pair. "Cheers to many more blessings, laughs, and beautiful memories! I love you so much!!" In June, Eric, whom Eddie welcomed with then-girlfriend Paulette McNeely in 1989, had also posted a photo with Jasmin and wrote, "Head over heels in LOVE with YOU." Luckily the pair doesn't have to worry if their families will get along!

Prince Harry opened up on Dax Shepard's podcast 'Armchair Expert' about his new friendship with Orlando Bloom. The Duke of Sussex and the 'Lord of the Rings' actor are neighbors in Montecito, California, and they've bonded over the crazy paparazzi in their area. But Page Six reports the stars had a previous common connection in designer Misha Nonoo (who reportedly matched up Harry and Meghan) and they both attended Nonoo's 2019 wedding. Plus, royal expert Dickie Arbiter told the Daily Mail that Harry was the one who forged the bond with Bloom.

James Franco and Seth Rogen -

These actors met while on the set of 'Freaks and Geeks' and have worked on many films since then, but it seems this friendship has sailed. In an interview with the Sunday Times, Rogen said he was distancing himself from his longtime pal amid Franco's scandal over alleged sexual harassment, claims of which surfaced both in 2014 and again in 2018. Rogen expressed remorse over his controversial 2014 'Saturday Night Live' joke which poked fun at the allegations that Franco propositioned a 17-year-old girl earlier that year. "It was a terrible joke, honestly.”

When asked if Rogen thought he might have been an enabler of Franco, he said, "What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that." Rogen also addressed a 2018 interview he gave in which he said he would continue working with Franco, and said, "The truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now," adding that it was “not a coincidence” that he hasn’t worked with Franco in recent years.
