NFL legend Terry Bradshaw is opening up about his lifelong struggles with anxiety attacks, extreme emotions, and clinical depression in his new memoir, 'Looking for Terry.'
The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was formally diagnosed with depression in the late 1990s and says seeking help from professionals and his pastor changed his outlook. Now, with support from his wife Tammy, Bradshaw hopes sharing his experience will help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
“If you read the book and you get some good out of it, then so be it,” Terry, 78, told People. “There’s something to be learned from this book.”
