In a TikTok video shared on May 24, the 26-year-old actress and daughter of legendary director Martin Scorsese said trolls called her “fat,” “ugly,” and compared her to “Miss Piggy” after news of her casting spread online.
Scorsese acknowledged criticism surrounding her status as a “nepo baby” but condemned the personal attacks, warning that online cruelty can seriously impact people’s mental health. “Your words have power behind them,” she said.
