A 2016 interview with Blake Lively has resurfaced after entertainment reporter Kjersti Flaa said the exchange left her “traumatized.”
Speaking to Page Six, Flaa explained that the moment unfolded while she was interviewing Lively, who was pregnant at the time, and her ‘Café Society’ (2016) co-star Parker Posey.
The awkward exchange began when Flaa congratulated Lively on her “little bump,” prompting the actress to reply, “Congrats on your little bump.” Flaa said the interview became increasingly uncomfortable after she tried to move on to a question about costumes, with Lively questioning whether male actors would be asked the same thing.
The interview resurfaced amid Lively’s legal battle with her ‘It Ends with Us’ (2024) co-star Justin Baldoni, in which Flaa was reportedly subpoenaed. Lively sued Baldoni in December 2024, while Baldoni later countersued. Both sides denied wrongdoing, and the case was settled on May 4, with neither party receiving money, though some related legal matters around fees and damages remain unresolved.
