Bruce Springsteen had long made his support for former US president Barack Obama clear, but the pair also became very good friends and even started up a podcast together called 'Renegades: Born in the USA.' Now, after the success of the podcast, they've turned it into a book, which similarly delves into conversations about race, the American dream, and their respective stories of growing up, while trying to draw out a common experience of the US beneath the polarization and anger of late. Who would have thought Barack and The Boss would make such a successful match?
