Speculation turned to confirmation this week as The Beatles announced the return of their iconic ‘Anthology’ project for 2025. The news followed a cryptic post by Paul McCartney on August 20, which fueled rumors of a comeback.
The revived project includes a new book, reissued albums, and a restored documentary series with a brand new ‘Episode Nine,’ which will feature unseen footage of McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr from the mid-1990s. The episode premieres on Disney+ on November 26.
‘The Anthology Music Collection’ will be rereleased on November 21. A 25th anniversary edition of ‘The Beatles Anthology’ book arrives on October 14. This will include 1,300 rare photos, documents, and memorabilia from the band’s archives.
This marks the first major expansion of the ‘Anthology’ series since its debut in the mid-1990s.
