East Tennessee Children’s Hospital was recently renamed Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital, this back in February 2026, in honor of Parton's generous donation. The country music legend has contributed what hospital officials described as a “generational and transformational” amount to support its long-term mission.
Hospital leadership said the funding will help expand medical staff, allow for investment in new programs and technology, and improve care for children and families across the region. While the exact amount has not been disclosed, officials emphasized the donation will have a lasting impact on the hospital’s future.
