Who's lived where, and when?

Next time you're in London, look out for English Heritage blue plaques.
A blue plaque is a permanent marker installed in a public place to commemorate a link between that location and a famous person, event, or former building on the site. Across the UK capital, over 900 blue plaques on properties honor the men and women who have lived or worked in them—artists, actors, writers, musicians, novelists, architects, scientists, and politicians, among many others from all walks of life.
