Stage -

Before appearing in films, Driver appeared in several plays from 2009-2012. He then took a seven-year hiatus, before returning to the stage in 2019 with 'Burn This.

TV - Driver first made his way onto the small screen with a few bit parts in ongoing series. He first appeared in one episode of a show called 'The Unusuals,' and went on to appear in several other series, including 'Law & Order.'

'J. Edgar' - In 2011, we saw Adam Driver's first film debut, though it was minor. He briefly starred in the Clint Eastwood-directed 'J. Edgar,' and it was a box-office success.

'Girls' -

Driver got his big break on this show in 2012. He went on to appear in numerous episodes, arguably kick-starting his path to fame and greater success.

A close call... -

Driver wasn't a fan of TV and almost didn't bother going to the audition for 'Girls.' He was doing theater at the time and thought TV was "evil." Luckily for fans he did go, and the rest is history!

Awards for 'Girls' - The year after Driver began starring in 'Girls,' the show won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. He was also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series three times for his role on the show!

'While We're Young' - In 2014, Driver appeared in Noah Baumbach's film, which was a moderate financial success and received well critically.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' -

Driver portrayed Kylo Ren for the first time in this enormous 2015 success. It is one of the most profitable films of all time and was critically praised.

'The Simpsons' - Driver had the honor of appearing as himself in a 2015 episode, entitled 'Every Man's Dream.'

While 2016's 'Paterson' was very small and independent, it was received with almost universal acclaim by the critics. Driver was nominated for numerous awards from critics associations.

'Saturday Night Live' - Driver has had the honor of the coveted position of 'SNL' host three times: in 2016, 2018, and 2020.

'Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens' -

In 2016, Driver featured in this video game in a voice-only part. He reprises his role as the film's villain, Kylo Ren.

Driver received a lot of critical praise for this performance. Like its predecessor, it was one of the most financially successful films of all time.

'Logan Lucky' - Driver appeared in Steven Soderbergh's 2017 heist comedy, which was both critically acclaimed and also a box-office success.

'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote' - A film in development for many years by director Terry Gilliam, Driver was cast and the film was finally made. Unfortunately, it was not a successful endeavor.

'BlacKkKlansman' - Driver starred in Spike Lee's film as an undercover detective. The film centers on the infiltration of the KKK and was highly successful at the box office.

He stars alongside Greta Gerwig and Don Cheadle in the Noah Baumbach-directed film 'White Noise,' set for release in select cinemas on November 25, after which it will be released on Netflix on December 30.
