Adele
- The Grammy-winner has lost more than 100 lbs (45 kg), and fans were shocked to see photos of her looking significantly slimmer in May 2020. Then, in October 2021, she appeared on the cover of Vogue showing off her new physique. She has since received backlash from the body positive movement, however, and speaking with Oprah Winfrey during her 'One Night Only' special on November 14, Adele said she wasn't shocked by the new wave of criticism because people have always had something to say about her weight. "I was body positive then and I'm body positive now," she said, adding, "It's not my job to validate how people feel about their bodies." She admitted she feels bad that her weight loss has made anyone feel insecure about themselves, "But that's not my job," she reiterated. "And I'm trying to sort my own life out."

Quinton Aaron and more inspiring celeb weight loss transformations
'The Blind Side' star reveals nearly 100-lb weight loss
©
Getty Images

Whether it's because of health or aesthetic reasons, we all like to feel good about ourselves, and sometimes that means dropping a few extra pounds. Celebrities are no exception, the difference being that their image is constantly under public scrutiny, so they have that extra pressure to look their best at all times.
'The Blind Side' star Quinton Aaron recently spoke to TMZ on February 21 about his journey to better health, and the impressive progress he's made losing nearly 100 lbs. He explained that he, like many people, gained weight during the pandemic but decided to use "the new year as a way to get a new me," which involved maintaining a healthier diet and committing to exercise. He has whittled his previous weight of 559 lbs to 462, and he said he plans to lose another 64 lbs by May 10, is in honor of his late mother's birthday.
Aaron explained that he wanted to improve his health so that he could better pursue his professional goals, which include working on his production company and music career, along with acting and his anti-bullying organization, the Quinton Aaron Foundation.
Many stars look completely different after changing their eating habits and exercising (or going under the knife). Click through this gallery and be inspired by these celebrity weight loss transformations.
