On the night of September 16, 2025, four people were arrested after images of President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto Windsor Castle on the occasion of Trump’s state visit to the United Kingdom. The visuals included photos of Trump and Epstein, one featuring First Lady Melania Trump alongside Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and a controversial birthday message allegedly sent by Trump in 2003.
Thames Valley Police confirmed the arrests, stating: “We take any unauthorized activity around Windsor Castle extremely seriously. Our officers responded swiftly to stop the projection, and four people have been arrested.” All four individuals remain in custody as investigations continue.
The incident follows renewed scrutiny of Epstein’s connections to public figures, including the release of a so-called birthday book that led to the dismissal of former UK ambassador Peter Mandelson, who allegedly referred to Epstein as “my best pal” in a signed message.
Epstein’s ties to British royalty have long been a source of controversy and led to Prince Andrew’s withdrawal from royal duties in 2019 and the loss of his titles in 2022. Epstein died in jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial for trafficking a minor. Allegedly, the millionaire used his wealth and influence to build a network that recruited and trafficked girls for the purpose of sexual exploitation, which connected him to many powerful figures.
