After Nikki Glaser joked about Leonardo DiCaprio’s private life at the Golden Globes, the actor showed there were no hard feelings.
Appearing on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on April 21, Glaser said she “always sends flowers” to celebrities she “made fun of” —like Leonardo DiCaprio—after each show she hosts. What she didn’t expect was for the actor to return the gesture with a gift of his own. “He sent me three baskets of pasta as a thank you,” Glaser revealed.
The comedian continued joking about it during the interview: “The type of girl he goes for, he wouldn’t send pasta to,” she said, before adding, “SpaghettiOs—maybe I would have been more his type.”
DiCaprio’s gift appeared to be a direct nod to Glaser’s Golden Globes joke, when she said the only fact she knows about the famously private star is from a ‘90s teen magazine interview in which he revealed his favorite food is pasta.
