British singer Sam Smith appeared on the 'Kelly Clarkson Show' in 2022 and revealed that his friend, superstar Ed Sheeran, has a rather strange habit of giving explicit sculptures as gifts. Smith had heard rumors and thought it was a joke, until he himself received a 6-foot-2 phallic sculpture made of marble. “It’s two tons, and I’m gonna have to get it craned into my house,” he told Clarkson. He added that he was considering having it turned into a centerpiece for a fountain.

According to Smith, he's not the only one to receive such a statue from Sheeran. He alleges that Sir Elton John was the first to be gifted!

When you think about how much cash some celebs have to blow on gifts, it's unsurprising that their presents are lavish and extravagant. It must be even more tempting to spoil your loved ones if you have ample spare cash lying around. And yet, some celebs go for gifts that are not so much extravagant as bizarre...

Samuel L. Jackson recently revealed a strange gift he sent to some famous newlyweds more than a decade ago. In an interview with Vulture, he recalled the marriage of his friend Scarlett Johansson to one Ryan Reynolds. That's a real throwback! The former couple met in 2007 and got married in 2008. When he heard the news of their engagement, Jackson decided to send them a wedding present based on Johannson's love of nature. She “was always talking about nature,” he recalled. So, Jackson sent his assistant to "buy 10 pounds of bees" and then went himself to buy them "bee suits and the whole thing." He says that they kept the bees for a couple of years while they were married and even got honey from them, but it didn't last. “And then one day the bees abandoned the hive or they abandoned the queen or some [ ].” Perhaps it was an omen, as their marriage only lasted a couple of years.
