Thankfully, Cook was open to her feedback. “Tim Cook was so lovely,” Streisand confirmed. “He had Siri change the pronunciation.” She added, “I guess that’s one perk of fame!”

We live in a multicultural world, so it's natural that our favorite celebrities have ancestry from all over the globe. For some celebrities, this means that their names can have origins in languages we're not familiar with, and if we don't speak that language, we might struggle to pronounce them correctly.

That being said, we thought "Anya Taylor-Joy" was pretty straightforward! However, the actress recently took to TikTok and introduced herself, leading some to realize they'd been saying her name wrong all along. The 27-year-old pronounced her first name as "anne-ya," not "awn-ya." Taylor-Joy doesn't get upset over mispronunciations, though. "My first director got so angry with me because we had gotten through the entire film and finally I was like, 'That's not my name,'" Anya revealed in a 2021 interview with Extra.
