Surrogacy has become an increasingly popular option for celebrities looking to start or extend their families. Cristiano Ronaldo, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker, and many other celebrities have shown us that there are many ways to have children.
Now, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have revealed that they welcomed their first baby, a daughter, via surrogate on January 15. "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family," Chopra announced on Instagram on January 21. The musician and the actress were married in late 2018, and funnily enough Chopra joked about announcing a pregnancy on the 'Jonas Brothers Family Roast' in late 2021. The pair has been open about wanting children, and though they haven't spoken about opting for surrogacy, they join a long list of celebrities who have gone the same route.
