Bunnie Xo is breaking her silence about her separation from Jelly Roll, revealing that they are "still having a baby together."
During an episode of her podcast 'Dumb Blonde' on June 18, the 46-year-old host brought up the subject directly, acknowledging that her audience needs "to understand why this is happening, where this is coming from, and what we're doing moving forward."
Regarding the speed of their separation, she explained, "We're literally settling our divorce in like... We've done it in like, what? Three weeks? Two weeks?" adding, "We're still having a baby together."
Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, said that the couple has always defied convention. "So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered. We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."
The two married in 2016 and have always been open about the issues in their marriage, including infidelity and challenges related to family planning. According to Jelly Roll, they both had to put in "a lot of work to repair" the relationship. Sadly, despite their best efforts, it seems the marriage didn’t last in the end.
When it comes to celebrity marriages, we of course hope they last. No matter the circumstances, divorce is never easy, and it's not something to wish on anyone.
