Prince Harry is said to have long been frustrated by comparisons to his uncle, former Prince Andrew. Sources indicate that this sentiment existed well before Andrew’s arrest but now sheds light on how Harry has perceived the royal family’s internal conflicts for years.
A source told People, “Harry felt it was unfair to compare them. He served in the military, performed well, and never engaged in misconduct, yet lost his security and housing while Andrew was protected.”
Following Andrew's arrest, which many see as embarrassing for the royal family, the contrast between the two has come into sharper focus. "This situation is sad and embarrassing for everyone," the source added.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was taken into custody at Wood Farm on February 19, where he has been staying on the Sandringham estate. He is suspected of misconduct in public office for allegedly sending confidential information to Jeffrey Epstein during Andrew's time as a UK trade envoy. Andrew has not been charged and denies any wrongdoing.
