In June 2023, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk made headlines with their strange tech bro rivalry, growing more absurd with each passing day. It all began when Musk encouraged Twitter users who were mocking Zuckerberg's newfound jiu-jitsu skills. "I'm up for a cage match if he is lol," Musk commented on a troll's post. Surprisingly, Zuckerberg fired back the next day on Instagram, screenshotting the comment and writing, "Send Me Location." Musk then responded with "Vegas Octagon," a well-known venue for high-profile UFC fights in the US. However, it seems that they may have found an even more impressive location for their showdown: the Colosseum in Rome.

Wrestling icons turned Hollywood actors John Cena and Dwayne Johnson found themselves in a heated rivalry ten years ago. Speaking on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, Cena acknowledged his mistake in 2011 when Johnson, already a successful movie star, returned to the WWE after a decade-long absence. Cena said it was his lack of "any concept of growth or someone else’s perspective” that led him to call Johnson out for leaving wrestling. Luckily, their feud didn't totally ruin their relationship, as Cena added, "it was almost at the cost of our friendship, which I would like to say now is in a really good place.”

Drake vs Kanye West -

Drake and Kanye West have had a strained relationship. They have exchanged words on social media and in their songs, and their feud intensified in 2021. West attempted to coincide the release of his album 'Donda' with Drake's album 'Certified Lover Boy', leading Drake to respond in a Trippie Red song. They seemed to bury the hatchet towards the end of the year, but it didn't last for long.

Drake vs Kanye West -

Drake and Kanye "Ye" West's feud seemed to have ended in 2021 after a period of quiet, but Drake went on to mock his old adversary in 2023. During an episode of Sound 42’s 'The Fry Yiy Show' on SiriusXM Radio, the Canadian rapper previewed a track called 'Rescue Me' which includes a sample of Kim Kardashian discussing her divorce with Ye, in which she says, “I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy."

Eric Braeden vs Eva Longoria -

During an appearance on 'Who's Talking to Chris Wallace,' Eva Longoria was reminded of her breakthrough role on the popular soap opera 'The Young and the Restless.' With a laugh, the actress responded, "Oh god, don't show a clip." After the clip was played, she laughed again and exclaimed, "I can't believe you found that." Longoria went on to talk about how she had to work at a temp agency alongside her role on the show because it "didn't pay enough for [her] to live off being an actor." 

However, these seemingly harmless comments were taken as direct insults by Eric Braeden, who portrayed Victor Newman on 'Young and the Restless.' Braeden began his response with a series of tweets, saying, "EVA LONGORIA: you just made derogatory remarks about daytime actors! You simply weren't good enough to handle the pressures of this medium!"

One Twitter user weighed in, claiming, " "She was awful as Isabella. We used to laugh at her scenes," and Braeden replied, "There you go! She was a caricature!!"

Offset vs Quavo -

Offset and Quavo of Migos were reportedly involved in a backstage altercation at the 2023 Grammys prior to a tribute performance honoring their late bandmate, Takeoff. In a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Cardi B can be seen breaking up the fight and expressing her disapproval by yelling, "Both of y'all wrong. Both of y'all! This is not right." Cardi added, "you shouldn’t have been talking.” Sources revealed that the dispute revolved around the execution of the tribute, with TMZ reporting that Quavo supposedly declined to include Offset in the performance, despite the Recording Academy’s request for them to collaborate on stage. Migos later officially disbanded.

Mel B vs James Corden -

During her appearance on Britain's 'The Big Narstie Show' on December 2, Mel B was direct in naming the "biggest [ ]head" she has ever encountered. According to The Wrap, the former Spice Girl wasted no time mentioning a few names: "James Corden, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J, and me." While she admitted her affection for Halliwell, Mel B also acknowledged that her former bandmate can sometimes be "really annoying." However, her tone changed when discussing 'Late Late Show' host James Corden. “I think you always have to be nice to the people that you work with—whether it be production, camera guys, sound, lighting,” she explained. “We all work for the same thing, so you should always be nice, and he hasn’t been very nice.”  Earlier in 2022, he was accused of being rude to staff at NYC's Balthazar restaurant. Mel B herself has appeared on Corden's show in both 2016 and 2018.

Tom Brady vs Antonio Brown -

Antonio Brown once again crossed the line in his ongoing feud with Tom Brady, this time by posting a blatantly doctored photo of Gisele Bündchen on social media. The controversial former NFL wide receiver shared an image in which the model's face was edited onto another woman's body on his Snapchat account on November 21, 2022. There was no accompanying caption, leaving it unclear why Brown chose to involve Brady's ex-wife in this publicity stunt. However, the photo was swiftly removed from his profile.

This incident adds to a series of strange social media attacks against Brady that Brown initiated back in October, right around the time of Brady's divorce. Brown shared a text conversation from 2021 in which the quarterback accused him of behaving like "a young immature man that is selfish, self-serving, irrational, and irresponsible," according to TMZ.

Arnold Schwarzenegger vs Sylvester Stallon -

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have developed a close friendship in recent years, despite once having a strong dislike for each other. The two action stars, famous for their roles in movies like 'The Expendables' and 'Escape Plan', were actually fierce competitors during the 1980s and 1990s. Stallone openly admitted in an interview with Forbes that they "really disliked each other immensely" during that time.

Stallone added, “We were… this may sound a little vain, but I think we were pioneering a kind of genre at that time and it hasn’t been seen since really. So the competition, because it’s his nature, he is very competitive and so am I… and I just thought it actually helped, but off-screen we were still competitive and that was not a healthy thing at all, but we’ve become really good friends.”

Spencer Pratt, known for his appearance on 'The Hills,' caused a public feud when he claimed that Lisa Kudrow, known for her role as Phoebe on 'Friends,' was one of the rudest celebrities he's ever met.

"The year was 2009 and Heidi [Montag, his wife] and I were invited to our first elite A-list party. It was clear when we got there, no one wanted us there." He said as they were enjoying themselves and "consuming a little caviar, Phoebe approaches, which was a little shocking as no one had spoken to us at all at the party.” He alleged that Kudrow then told his wife “right in front of me, that she needs to get away from me as fast as possible because I’m going to murder [her]," and that Kudrow told him he had “the eyes of a serial killer." Montag reportedly waited to see if it was a joke, but Kudrow allegedly just walked away, "and that right there was the rudest moment I’ve ever encountered with a human being," Pratt concluded.

Kanye West vs Pete Davidson -

Kanye "Ye" West engaged in a one-sided feud with Pete Davidson following news of a romantic connection between the comedian and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. West's anger persisted even after Davidson and Kardashian ended their relationship. The rapper took to Instagram to vent his frustration, sharing messages exchanged with Kardashian regarding their children, and making threatening remarks towards Davidson. One of West's posts stated, "ask Pete how those tattoos of my kids doing in the trauma unit." Davidson had developed a close bond with Kardashian's children and had their initials tattooed on his neck. These posts were ultimately removed, allegedly because Kardashian was greatly displeased with West reverting to his previous behavior.

Kanye West vs Pete Davidson -

After enduring months of public criticism, Davidson, who does not use social media, shared screenshots of messages he sent to Ye through Twitter. These messages were confirmed to be authentic by E! News. The exchange began on March 13 when Ye began expressing family-related grievances. 

He asked Ye to "calm down" because "Kim is the literally the best mother I've ever met," adding, "I've decided that I'm not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow ... up." When Ye asked where he was, Davidson replied with a photo of himself laying down and wrote, "In bed with your wife." He continued, "You don't scare me bro ... It's so sad to watch you ruin ur legacy on the daily," he wrote, while offering to meet in LA to talk things out between them. Ye told him to come to Sunday Service but Davidson said he didn't want the press. "What you are doing to your family is dangerous and going to scar them for life. Please handle these matters privately bro I beg you."

Sylvester Stallone vs Irwin Winkler -

Sylvester Stallone has been using social media to discuss his feud with producer Irwin Winkler and Irwin's son, David Winkler. Irwin co-produced the 'Rocky' films and served as the producer for the 'Creed' spin-off series featuring Michael B. Jordan. Stallone has producing credits for the 'Creed' movies but not for 'Rocky,' even though he wrote, starred in, and sometimes directed them.

In 2019, Stallone revealed that he had requested some ownership rights to the 'Rocky' franchise, considering his deep involvement in its creation. However, the Winklers dismissed his request, arguing that Stallone had the opportunity to star in the movies instead. 

Stallone took to social media to criticize Winkler, arguing that it is unfair for the entire legacy of 'Rocky' to remain exclusively within the Winkler family. Stallone expressed the distressing nature of this topic, as he had intended to leave a lasting legacy of 'Rocky' for his own children.

Pusha T vs McDonald's -

It is not widely known that rapper Pusha T and his brother collaborated on the creation of the iconic McDonald's jingle, "I'm Lovin' It." In a retaliatory move for their insultingly poor compensation, Pusha joined forces with Arby's to release a diss track aimed at the fast-food giant.  Seeking retribution, the rapper aligned himself with Arby's to not only promote their Spicy Fish Sandwich but also to take down their competition. Accompanying the track, Pusha tweeted the hashtag "#ArbysPaidMeButIWouldSayThisAnyway," indicating that he was indeed compensated for his participation. Rolling Stone verified that Pusha's revenge had a positive impact on his bank account.

Julia Fox vs Azealia Banks -

On February 2022, Azealia Banks targeted Julia Fox, Kanye West's ex-girlfriend and Banks' former friend.

In response to Fox's post that she isn't sad about her breakup with Ye but is instead a "#1 hustler," and "came up," Banks wrote on her Instagram Stories, "What did you hustle him for? A bag and some Lucien's? You absolutely did not come up because if this is how women who 'always date billionaires' behave when [stuff] goes south, threatening tell-all books... You can kiss your days as a low-rate escort goodbye, sis."

What followed were a series of low blows and screenshots of messages posted to both of their Instagram Stories. Banks called Fox a "dirty junkie who was shooting up while she was pregnant."

Kanye West vs Pete Davidson vs Kid Cudi -

During the Super Bowl weekend of 2022, Kanye "Ye" West sparked a conflict on his Instagram account, targeting Pete Davidson for obvious reasons and surprisingly, his longtime friend and collaborator, Kid Cudi. On February 12, in a since-deleted note to Instagram, Ye tagged Cudi as well as Kim Kardashian and wrote, "Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda [2] because he’s friends with you know who,” as per Billboard.  Cudi, who last collaborated with Ye on his 2021 'Donda' album, left a comment on Ye’s post that read: "Too bad I dont wanna be on ur album u [ ] dinosaur hahaha." He continued, "everyone knows ive been the best thing about ur albums since i met u. Ima pray for you brother.” Then Cudi tweeted, “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE."

Kanye West vs Billie Eilish -

Ye and Billie Eilish, co-headliners at Coachella, found themselves in a feud after Ye called her out for a comment she made during a recent concert in Atlanta. Eilish had halted her performance to address a distressed fan, reassuring the audience that her priority was their safety and well-being. From the stage, Eilish said "Don’t crowd…We’re taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be ok until I keep going.” Ye interpreted these comments as an indirect diss to Travis Scott, who unknowingly continued performing while dozens of fans were injured, and some killed, in the crowd at Astroworld. He took to Instagram to accuse her of dissing Scott, and said "Come on Billie we love you. Please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives. No one intended this to happen.” He added, “Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened, and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella, but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform.” Eilish responded a couple of hours later saying "Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan."

Vin Diesel vs Dwayne Johnson -

Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson's feud began during the production of 'The Fate of the Furious' in 2017. Diesel took to Instagram to criticize Johnson, claiming that the aggression between their characters on-screen was genuine. Since then, the two actors have not collaborated and have made disparaging remarks about each other in interviews, indicating a strained relationship. However, in November 2021, Diesel publicly reached out to Johnson, imploring him to return for the series' final film. In an open letter, he appealed to their previous camaraderie, referring to Johnson as his "little brother" and reminding him of the bonds they share with each other's families. Diesel also revealed that he had promised his late co-star and friend, Paul Walker, that he would give the franchise a satisfying conclusion.

Vin Diesel vs Dwayne Johnson -

A month later, Johnson responded to Diesel's public request with a candid interview on CNN. He viewed Diesel's request as an "example of his manipulation," and clarified that he had already informed Diesel privately that he had no intention of returning to the franchise. Therefore, Johnson was taken aback by the open letter and was not pleased with the inclusion of his children and the mention of a mutual friend. "I didn't like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker's death. Leave them out of it." Johnson reiterated that he will not return for 10th and final film in the 'Fast & Furious' series.

Adam McKay vs Will Ferrell -

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay had a successful comedic partnership spanning more than 20 years, collaborating on popular films such as 'Anchorman,' 'Step Brothers,' and 'Talladega Nights.' In April 2019, they announced the end of their joint production company, Gloria Sanchez Productions, attributing it to McKay's increased capacity for producing. However, it seems there was more to the story, as Ferrell has completely severed ties with McKay.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, McKay disclosed that their relationship reached its breaking point when he chose to cast John C. Reilly instead of Ferrell in his HBO drama series, without consulting Ferrell. Although McKay attempted to apologize and acknowledge his mishandling of the situation, he fears that Ferrell may never forgive him or speak to him again.

Their dispute originated on Twitter and strangely escalated to an official, high-profile boxing match. Mayweather, known for his attitude and provocative remarks, found himself facing an arrogant, aspiring YouTuber who believed he could defeat him, leading to chaos. The fight concluded with both contenders lasting the full eight rounds, and no winner being declared.
