The news started circulating again after 'Community' actress Yvette Nicole Brown opened up about smelling McConaughey when they worked together on 2008's 'Tropic Thunder. Fortunately, his natural scent was not nearly as offensive as one might fear. “He smells like granola and good living. He has a sweet, sweet scent,” Brown said. “That is just him, and it’s not musty or crazy.”

In 2021, the popular actress from 'Frozen' took to Instagram to share a video of her husband, Dax Shepard, questioning her about some used toilet paper he discovered on the toilet seat. In the footage, Shepard asks where she intended to place it, and she responds with laughter, saying, "It was dark in here."  Shepard replied, "It's dark in here a lot, apparently, because that happens, I don't know—four, five days a week."
