Harry Styles joked about Taylor Swift’s wedding during his August 29 concert at Madison Square Garden, where he pointed out that the iconic New York venue is not only home to the NBA champions the New York Knicks but also hosts weddings.
“We’re at Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks! And they also do weddings,” the singer told the crowd.
Swift married NFL star Travis Kelce at the Garden on July 3 in a secret, star-studded ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler. Styles’ fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, was among the guests, although Styles himself was performing at Wembley Stadium in London that night.
Styles and Swift reportedly dated from 2012 to 2013, and fans have long speculated that Swift’s 2014 album ‘1989’ was partly inspired by the relationship, particularly the song ‘Style.’ Their brief romance remains one of the most closely examined chapters in Swift’s dating history.
