Soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo attended a White House dinner on November 18, hosted by President Donald Trump in honor of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Ronaldo was seated near the front of the East Room, close to where the president and crown prince addressed officials and top business leaders, including Apple CEO Tim Cook and Tesla founder Elon Musk.
During his remarks, Trump acknowledged Ronaldo, thanking him for his presence and saying that his youngest son, Barron, a “big fan” of Ronaldo, was thrilled to meet the soccer legend.
Visiting the White House is always a remarkable experience, but even more so when you're a celebrity and get to meet the president and, sometime, his family, too. Over the years, many famous people have visited the White House. Some did so to receive awards, while others attended events or in a more formal capacity. Regardless of how these famous faces got through the doors, they all had the honor of doing so.
