Actress Selma Blair was arrested after allegedly punching a flight attendant and biting another crew member on a Delta flight to New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on October 11.
The two flight attendants reported injuries, and one was taken to hospital. After the arrest, Blair, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2018, was also taken to hospital for evaluation.
A rep for Blair told People that the actress “experienced a medical emergency” that led to the alleged incident. It is not the first time Blair has encountered trouble during a flight, as in 2016 she was removed from an international flight following an incident where she said she had mistakenly “mixed alcohol with medication.”
The FBI is currently investigating the incident.
