On July 1, Prince William stepped out alongside his father, King Charles, and Queen Camilla on what would have been the 65th birthday of his late mother, Princess Diana, as they attended the Order of the Thistle service. The ceremony was held at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The Prince of Wales wore a traditional green velvet robe and black hat adorned with large white ostrich feathers, as did King Charles and Queen Camilla.
While the Order of the Thistle service is an annual tradition, many have been speculating about the timing of this year’s ceremony, which fell on the date of the birthday of Princess Diana.
