Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles revealed on June 6 that she experienced a terrifying health scare.
Biles shared a photo on Instagram showing her arm covered with multiple hospital wristbands and revealed she has spent the week “in bed resting” at home.
"I'm not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today's age," Biles wrote on her Instagram Stories. "But almost dying wasn't on my bingo card earlier this week."
"This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan [Owens] was in Indy for practices," she added. Owens, who married Biles in April 2023, is currently with the Indianapolis Colts after signing a one-year contract with the team in March 2026.
Biles continued her recovery update by sharing images of floral arrangements in glass vases on a countertop that were gifted to her, documenting her healing process following the near-fatal health crisis.
