In 2021, he wrote an essay for Air Mail titled 'A Very Larry David Christmas,' in which he delves into his aversion to festive celebrations. He wrote that he would be "filled with dread at the prospect of close social encounters with what seemed like hundreds of relatives" on Christmas.
