Cristiano Ronaldo has become the all-time leading scorer in FIFA World Cup qualifying history after netting twice in Portugal’s 2-2 draw against Hungary on October 14. The 40-year-old forward surpassed Guatemala’s Carlos Ruiz, who previously shared the record with 39 goals, by reaching a new milestone of 41.

Despite his brace, Portugal failed to secure a win, with Hungary equalizing in stoppage time in the 91st minute. The result leaves Portugal five points ahead of Hungary in Group F, with two matches remaining.

Nonetheless, for Ronaldo, the match solidified more records. Of course, this is something he's more than used to.
