Joanne Woodward won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1957 for her role in

'The Three Faces of Eve.' Now 95, she's the oldest living actress to receive the accolade. Woodward's career spanned 70 years, throughout which she also garnered three Primetime Emmy Awards, a British Academy Film Award, three Golden Globe Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

As the wife of Paul Newman, she appeared in 10 movies alongside her equally famous husband. After his death in 2008, Joanne Woodward retired from acting and is today rarely seen in public.
