To reflect the sentiment of uncertain times ahead, co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons focused on exposing chaotic, impractical layers, complemented by bold statement pieces.
Indeed, with every new season comes a fresh take on what the future holds for fashion. Over the years, with countless fashion shows and designers rotating on thousands of runways, it seems that the styles we know have all been exhausted (nearly every variation of pants, shirts, skirts, and dresses have been created), so much so that designers have had no other choice but to introduce some truly out-of-the-box ideas.
Runways are no longer places where people watch for new trends and pieces that they’d like to add to their own personal wardrobe. Rather, they’ve become places of fantasy and artistic expression, where anything goes and everything is fashion.
